NSF-invited research proposal

OWL Environment DAO

Proposed OWL Environment DAO architecture: GreenAcre environmental work connects to EcoGuardians community verification and a shared record of contributions and reputation.
Proposed architecture for GreenAcre, EcoGuardians, and a shared community record.

Community ownership, carbon sequestration, and reputation-based governance.

GreenAcre

GreenAcre would organize environmental work.

EcoGuardians

A shared record

The proposed shared record connected contribution, reputation and community decisions.

NSF confirmed receipt of our Project Pitch.

  2. 02

NSF invited a full Phase I proposal.

  3. 03

We developed and submitted the full proposal.

In 2022, OWL explored how participation and contribution could shape community decisions.

The design sketched roles from reader to contributor and leader, with reputation and influence changing as people took part.

Checked against the 2024 proposal, NSF pitch acknowledgement and invitation, our dated submission and team decision updates, and 2022 governance notes.

Original records remain in the project archive.
